There are Diamonds even in Ebony

The night passed too fast like a roller coaster. Or a roundabout of ebony, with stars twinkling like diamonds. Diamonds which could never be touched, never taken down from their pedestal. They were too high up to be a girl's best friend, too high up to be gifted to anyone. But they shone from above;shone white and bright.

A changed outsider

She never felt like one of them,
Never at home

Yes, they greeted her with smiles,
But deep down, she knew they disapproved

She felt change,
She saw change,

It struck her as odd
That he didn't

Wild Ones

The waves rolled open on the shore, licking the sand like a lion circling its prey. They watched patiently, fascinated by the lurking current. It curled like a wild tornado, sucking in everything that it touched. The sun burnt like a wild candle, scorching everything its rays touched. Everyone watched in silence, an awed silence.

Insignificant

The evergreen trees stood high above us, so high that they almost touched the sky. Looking up at them made my neck cringe. I would never touch them, never embrace them. They didn't know I existed, neither did I. Some say I was stupid to think of myself as so insignificant, I agreed to a extent. But to a more larger extent I didn't agree. Because there was nothing remotely interesting about me to invite people or at least I never thought so.
