Insignificant

The evergreen trees stood high above us, so high that they almost touched the sky. Looking up at them made my neck cringe. I would never touch them, never embrace them. They didn't know I existed, neither did I. Some say I was stupid to think of myself as so insignificant, I agreed to a extent. But to a more larger extent I didn't agree. Because there was nothing remotely interesting about me to invite people or at least I never thought so.
